"We usually think about the packaging for our products in terms of design, cost appearance and value as a gift. Our goal is to balance them without being too excessive. Sometimes, products are planned from its package first before we decide what to put inside. We used this notion to create our glass display cases. Deciding what to put inside was not as easy to come up with so we leave that to you."

In the true manner of Puebco, these display cases are small batch, practically one-of-a-kind items. Because they are made of repurposed wooden drawers, the size, shape, color and hardware will vary. The glass encasement is custom made to size.

Since its founding in Japan in 2007, the brand has operated on a core conviction: that the most interesting materials are those that already have a life behind them.  Puebco works with salvaged and reclaimed sources — recycled military tents and clothing, decommissioned mail bags, truck upholstery, and repurposed parachutes — redesigned into garments, bags, rugs, and home goods.
