Laminated Fabric Series

"We were lucky to be able to obtain camouflaged fabric of the Indian army. While we liked very much the fact that it was the official fabric used for military uniforms, the essential part of what it could be used for was not easily found. While we were ruminating on this problem, we happened upon information about a factory that laminates fabric. If we could laminate the fabric, then it could be used for wet things and would be easy to clean off any dirt. We came up with the idea of making storage goods out of the camouflaged fabric. We laminated the camouflaged side, which is usually the outer side. By applying a thick laminate, the material became more rigid and came to have more texture. As a result, we were able to develop various types such as bucket shape and the one with zippers. Because the world is already full of simple and convenient storage goods, our goal was to create an organizer of quite the opposite."
