"We found this experimental sieve in New York. It was thick and heavy. Our first impulsive reaction to this overly strong sieve was to simply be impressed. We loved how stylish it was. But the question was how do we turn it into merchandise. Some of our items are birthed overnight and some take much longer. It was the latter for this item. We had this on our idea shelf for almost a year before we thought of covering up the bottom of the sieve. We replaced the screen with a mirror and completely changed the function. Only time will tell if this was a successful idea that we could keep the original sieve's look and weight or not."
