"Like a huge wooden scoop, this item was originally used to impede the movement of the tires on a parked manual truck. These days, wooden tire stoppers are rarely seen but sometimes they may be found at fire departments and military-related areas overseas. When visiting the military museum in Oslo, Norway, I was so happy when I noticed wooden tire stoppers were used for the heavy doors of the big building. I had never imagined using this item as a doorstopper. When we began designing the idea of this doorstopper, we dared to keep the original size and hope it is used boldly at stores and houses."
